Directive 8020: Supermassive Games' new Black Photos sci-fi horror game is coming soon

Creative director Will Doyle also revealed that all the characters will die, and the story will develop in a similar way to the previous Dark Photos series.

"Despite that, it's still a very narrative game! All the elements of Dark Photos that you love are still there: movie sequences and pacing, QTE, meaningful choices, secrets to find and narrative branches," Doyle said.

GAME LAUNCH TIME:

"Dark Photos" was released as early as this year at Gamescom 2024, introducing the main character and basic premise of the game (as well as the creepy tone). It was launched on the Steam page on August 22, but the official launch time of the game has not been announced. It is expected that the game will be officially launched in 2025.
